Clarkston Montessori School was established to provide a healthy, nurturing and enriching learning experience for children in a homelike setting. The environment is especially prepared for the children – all furnishings are set up at the child’s level, all materials are developmentally appropriate and especially designed to enrich the child’s intellectual, emotional, social and developmental needs.
For the upcoming school year, the curriculum will include our Spanish Language Immersion Program. Our foreign language teacher will be present with our children for two days (3 hours a day) in conversation with the children using the target language as they work and play in our Montessori environment. This makes our Montessori school truly unique in encouraging the children to learn a second language.
The classroom setting and outside environment encourage the children to explore, discover, learn and have fun.
